	larger image		Commonly used in systems requiring an inert catalyst bed support. T-162 is known for its inertness and high resistance to thermal and mechanical shock. T-162 is used in thermal reservoirs and support beds in catalytic and other petroleum refining uses. It can also be used as overburden to prevent gas or liquid streams from carrying away desiccant or other beaded material.
