(3) Granular scavenger for the removal of process impurities from aqueous or hydrocarbon streams. Particularly useful for the removal of low level polar and/or ionic species. High macroporosity improves diffusion rates while high surface area provides enhanced capacity.
(19) Grade F-6 has the same moisture adsorptive capacity of Grade F-200, however, it contains an indicator that turns from blue to pale pink/white as the desiccant becomes saturated.
F-6 is used in applications where a moisture indicating desiccant with high adsorption capacity is required at elevated temperatures. F-6 has a high crush strength and surface area. This product can be effectively regenerated at 175°C. F-6 will remove water from gas, liquids and vapors.
If maximum adsorption capacity is desired along with visual indicating of the degree of adsorption, then Grade F-6 may be intermixed with Grade F-200.
(25) Grade F-200 is recommended for drying gases and liquids: for maintenance of transformer and lubricating oils; for drying refrigerants; and for applications where extremely low dew points are desirable.
(4) Commonly used in systems requiring an inert catalyst bed support. T-162 is known for its inertness and high resistance to thermal and mechanical shock.
T-162 is used in thermal reservoirs and support beds in catalytic and other petroleum refining uses. It can also be used as overburden to prevent gas or liquid streams from carrying away desiccant or other beaded material.
